Eritrea: Nationals at home and abroad conduct candle lit vigil

Asmara, 19 June 2015 – Eritrean nationals at home and abroad today conducted indoor and outdoor candle lit vigil in connection with Martyrs Day.

Addressing the gathering at Bahti Meskerem Square, the Administrator of the Central region, Maj. General Ramadan Osman Awliyai, noted that higher spirit of dedication and steadfastness on the part of the Eritrean people is the secret behind their success in various domains.

A number of artistic works were staged on the occasion highlighting the significance of Martyrs Day.
